Grants
Grants, Scholarships, housing allowances and meal tickets.
Every year there are two Calls for grants published. The first is published in the autumn with a deadline on 31st December and is based on academic merit and income (maximum income of 23.000 euro according to Italian ISEE rules). The second is published during the summer and has similar requirements for academic merit and a maximum ISEE income of 40.000 euro. If you qualify you can also have your fees refunded: 100% for the first notice and a part for the second.
Supplement for international mobility: If you qualify for a study grant you can also have the benefit of a ten month financial supplement for international mobility programmes (see art.10 of the 2 calls for study grants above).
If you are a student at the University you can also apply for a housing allowance, cumulative with the study grant, academic merit award and the supplement for international mobility. Every year two Calls for grants are published with their deadlines and with the academic merit and income requirements similar to the study grant.
If you are a student at the university you can apply to the subsidised meals service (mensa a tariffa agevolata ) provided by the Aosta Valley Autonomous Regional Council. Contact the Grants Office at the Regional Council offices for further information (Ufficio Borse di studio dell’Assessorato Istruzione, Università, Politiche giovanili, Affari europei e Partecipate – Struttura Politiche educative.)
PLEASE NOTE: the economic status of international students not resident in Italy will be judged using the equivalent Indicator of personal financial situations used in their country of origin. This will be calculated as the sum of their foreign income and 20% of the value of their foreign assets.
