PERSONAL STATEMENT Dedicated and committed English language teacher with a proven record of empowering students with language skills and helping them progress by providing methods that stimulate an active learning attitude. Students are invited to reflect on their own learning process and acquire a critical attitude towards it as well as foster cultural sensitivity, cross- cultural and cross-linguistic awareness so as to succeed in communicating with fruitful results.

Communication skills
Good communication skills gained through years of liaising with students, their families and
colleagues in the drafting, organizing and carrying out of multi-disciplinary, multi-lingual projects, many of which were approved and funded by INDIRE and the European Commission.
Organisational / managerial skills
Good leadership and organizational skills acquired in the role of Cambridge Assesment Team Leader, whose task is to carry out standardisation and training sessions for Cambridge Speaking Examiners, monitor the standards and take appropriate steps to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Further leadership and organizational skills were gained during the 9 years as coordinator and contact person for Comenius and Erasmus+ projects, for which we were awarded “success story” and “good practice” labels by the European Commission.
